British artist Alexandria Coe is best known for her charcoal works on paper. The nude bodies that Coe depicts in her works are forms that while are abstract in their simplicity, are also instantly recognizable to viewers, through Coe’s use of flowing and robust lines. Feminism and body politics are overarching themes that shape Coe’s focus on drawing nudes.
Born in 1990, lives and works in London.
